Application development has been with us for a long time, but in some ways it has changed little. Although there has been a good deal of criticism of application development methodology over the years, certain fundamental problems have never been addressed successfully. Today, that is changing, and in this paper we will examine a new direction supported by the IBM® InfoSphere™ Foundation Tools.
